As a kid, I loved building the Aurora Prehistoric Scenes series of model kits. I had built the Flying Reptile (Pteranodon), the Three Horned Dinosaur (Triceratops), the Saber Tooth Tiger (Smilodon), the Tar Pit, the Woolly Mammoth (Mastadon), Neanderthal Man, Cro-Magnon Man and Cro-Magnon Woman. Sadly, at the time I never managed to collect all of the series. Also, sadly, those models have long been lost to time. Fast forward many years and I decided that I was going to revisit those kits and collect them all. Between 2023 and 2024 I managed to collect at least three of each kit. Starting in August of 2023 and finishing up in September of 2024 I managed to complete one set of all 17 of the Prehistoric Scenes models. Along the way I have obtained a number of other kits by such manufacturers as Tamiya, Lindberg, AMT and others and started building those. This page is to document my paleo-model building endeavors. I will be creating videos and posting them here soon as well as other links and resources. My videos should be looked at not so much as tutorials but as documentation of my model building experiences. That being said, if you find something useful, I hope it helps.
